This report is currently available in Russian language only. However, we can provide an English version of the report within 3 weeks after receiving a payment.
This report is the first edition of a study of the non-ferrous metal concentrate market (copper, lead, zinc) in Russia and the CIS countries.
The objective of the study is to analyze the market for copper, lead, and zinc concentrates.
The objects of the study are copper, lead, and zinc concentrates, as well as refined copper, metallic lead, and zinc.
This work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international databases of the UN (UNdata), World Bank, and Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); railway transportation statistics; the SBIS database; annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers; industry and regional press, conference materials, and websites of manufacturers and consumers of the products under study. Scientific and technical literature (e.g., elibrary, etc.), the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
Main timeframe of the study: 2013-2025, forecast to 2030.
Geographical coverage: Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia
Scope of the study: The report consists of 3 parts and contains 154 pages, including 59 tables, 49 figures, and 3 appendices.
The first part of the report covers the copper concentrate market.
The second part covers the lead concentrate market.
The third part covers the zinc concentrate market.
Each part contains 6 chapters.
The first chapter presents the mineral resource base of the non-ferrous metal concentrate under study (reserves, deposits) in Russia and the CIS countries.
Chapter two presents data on the production of non-ferrous metal concentrates in the above-mentioned countries from 2013 to 2025.
Chapter three examines the main producers of non-ferrous metal concentrates in Russia and the CIS.
Chapter four provides an overview of the export and import of non-ferrous metal concentrates from 2013 to 2025 in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
Chapter five covers the consumption of non-ferrous metal concentrates and their production in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan from 2013 to 2025. Production trends for the main producers and company profiles are presented.
Chapter six of the review provides a forecast for the production of non-ferrous metal concentrates in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to 2030, based on planned mine development projects.
The appendix provides addresses and contact information for the main players in the concentrate and non-ferrous metals market in Russia and the CIS.
The target audience for this study is:
- non-ferrous metallurgy market participants – producers, consumers, and traders;
- potential investors.
This study is intended to serve as a reference guide for marketing departments and decision-makers working in the non-ferrous metal concentrate market in Russia and the CIS.
