This report is the 7th edition of the study of the metal powder market for additive technologies in Russia and the world.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the market of additive technologies using metal powders in Russia.

This work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from the statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international databases of the UN (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; data on international and European trade (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); the Unified Information System in the Sphere of Procurement; railway transportation statistics; the SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; InfoMine database, etc.

Research timeframe: 2009-2025, forecast – up to 2030

Research geography: the global market is considered briefly, the Russian Federation market – in detail.

Research volume: the report consists of 9 chapters, contains 109 pages, including 27 tables, 18 figures and 2 appendices.

The first chapter of the report is devoted to a brief overview of the state of additive technologies in the world, including those using metal powders for 3D printing.

The second chapter shows the main companies producing equipment for the production of metal additive powders. The nomenclature of a number of the world's leading powder manufacturers is given.

The third chapter presents information on the situation on the Russian market of equipment for the production of additive metal powders. The results of purchases of this equipment in open tenders in 2011-2025 are shown.

The fourth chapter is devoted to the situation with the production of metal powders for additive technologies in Russia. The article describes companies that have and are creating capacities for the production of these products. An assessment is given of the production of metal powders for 3D in Russia in 2017-2024.

The fifth chapter presents data on the export-import of the Russian Federation in 2009-2022 of metal powders for additive technologies with distribution by delivery directions. The chapter is supplemented with detailed information on Russian importers, foreign suppliers of metal powders for additive technologies in 2009-2024.

The sixth chapter describes large Russian importers of metal additive powders.

The seventh chapter presents the dynamics of import prices for various types of additive powders, as well as domestic prices based on the analysis of competitions and tenders in 2017-2025.

The eighth chapter is devoted to the description of the consumption of metal powders for 3D printing in Russia. The balance of production and consumption, the structure of consumption by areas of use are presented. The article presents the results of open competitions and tenders for the purchase of metal powders for 3D printing in 2017-2025. An overview of the additive technology market participants using metal powder for 3D printing is given.

Chapter nine assesses the prospects for the development of additive technologies in Russia and the consumption of metal powders for 3D printing until 2030.

Appendix 1 provides contact information for the main companies operating in the additive technology market in Russia, and Appendix 2 provides the results of open tenders and competitions for the sale of additive metal powders in 2017-2025.

Target audience of the study:

- additive technology market participants;

- potential investors.

The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for specialists working in the additive technology market and making management decisions.
