This report is the first edition of a study of the global coal market.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the world coal market, determine the role of Russia in the world market and its prospects.
Work is a desk study. As sources of information, data from Rosstat, Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, CDU TEK, IEA, BP, Metal-Expert, UN data, ABS, US Energy Information, AMS of Russia, etc. were used.
Chronological framework of the study: 2007-2018; forecast for the period up to 2030
Geography research: World, Russia
The report consists of 3 parts, contains 156 pages, including 60 figures, 59 tables.
The first chapter of the report provides an overview of the situation on the global coal market, a forecast for the coming years, and also presents data on coal production and consumption in Russia. The analysis of strategic documents of a number of countries on coal is made, the forecast of their consumption of coal up to 2030 is presented.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the analysis of world foreign trade in coal. The volumes of deliveries of the main countries and the forecast up to 2030 are shown. A review of Russian coal exports is also given (2016-2018). For a number of countries, the main trends in the development of the coal business have been identified.
The third chapter of the report contains a forecast of Russian coal exports, depending on world prices.
Target audience of the study:

- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be the reference for marketing services and management decision-makers working in the coal market.
