This report is the second edition of the market research for manganese raw materials, manganese metal and manganese compounds in the CIS.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the markets of manganese raw materials, metallic manganese and manganese chemical compounds in Russia and the CIS countries.
The object of research is manganese ores and concentrates, metallic manganese, as well as chemical compounds of manganese: Mn oxides, Mn dioxide, Mn sulfate, K permanganate, Mn carbonate, Mn nitride, Mn nitrate, Mn phosphate, Mn sulfide, Mn cyclopentadienyl tricarbonyl, Mn dithiocarbamate.
This work is a desk study. The sources of information were data from Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian State Customs Service, data from UN data, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, websites of manufacturers and consumers of manganese products.
Chronological framework of the study: 2000-2019, forecast - 2020-2025.
Geography of research: Russian Federation, Ukraine - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market, other CIS countries - a brief analysis of the market.
The report consists of 5 chapters, contains 142 pages, including 55 tables, 34 figures and 1 appendix.
The first chapter of the report provides a description of the manganese resource base of the CIS countries: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Georgia, describes the main deposits and the degree of their development.
The second chapter of the report describes the current state of the market for manganese raw materials in the CIS. The data on the volumes of production of manganese ores in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Georgia, export and import of manganese raw materials, balances of production and consumption of Mn raw materials in Russia and Ukraine in 2000-2019 are presented.
The third chapter of the report is devoted to the manganese metal market. The chapter describes the situation with the release of metallic manganese in the CIS, incl. the state of new projects for its production, data on the volume of foreign trade operations with metallic manganese in Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries, Russian export-import prices for manganese, the consumption of metal in Russia and Ukraine in 2010-2019 is considered.
The fourth chapter of the report is devoted to the market for manganese compounds. The chapter describes the producers of manganese oxides, dioxide and sulphate in the CIS. The data on export-import operations with Mn oxides (CIS), Mn dioxide (CIS), Mn sulfate (RF, Ukraine), as well as other average manganese (RF) in 2009-2019 are given. The import prices for Mn compounds in Russia are given, and the Russian consumption of manganese compounds is described.
The fifth chapter of the report provides a forecast of the development of the market for metallic manganese and manganese compounds until 2025, taking into account the development trends of consuming industries.
The appendix contains contact information for producers of metallic manganese and manganese compounds in the CIS, as well as the largest consumers of manganese compounds in Russia.
Target audience of the study:
- Manganese market participants - producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference manual for marketing services and specialists making managerial decisions working in the market of manganese-containing products: concentrates, ferroalloys, chemical compounds.
