This review is the third edition of a study of the carbide metalworking tools market in Russia.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the market for cutting tools made of metal-ceramic hard alloys in Russia.
The object of the study is metal-cutting tools made of tungsten-containing hard alloys (cermets): axial tools - drills and cutters (both monolithic and prefabricated), as well as replaceable plates for equipping prefabricated and brazed tools.
This work is a desk research. Data from the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, data from open tender platforms, as well as Internet sites of carbide tool manufacturers were used as sources of information.
Chronological scope of the study: 2014-2022; forecast – 2023-2030
Geography of the study: Russian Federation – comprehensive detailed market analysis.
The report consists of 5 parts, contains 82 pages, including 10 figures, 34 tables and 1 appendix.
The first chapter of the report provides information about carbide alloys, and also describes the classification of carbide metalworking tools and the technology for their manufacture.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the production of tools from hard alloys in Russia. This chapter provides an assessment of the dynamics of tool production in 2014-2022, and also describes the current state of the main manufacturing enterprises.
The third chapter of the report provides data on foreign trade operations with metal-ceramic tools in the Russian Federation in 2014-2022. Statistical data on the volumes of foreign trade operations, the regional structure of exports and imports of tools, data on the volumes and directions of supplies by the main exporters and importers are provided. The section also provides data on the dynamics of export-import prices for tools made of hard alloys.
The fourth chapter of the report examines the consumption of cermet carbide tools in Russia in 2014-2022. This section provides an assessment of the market capacity of carbide tools in physical and value terms, assesses the industry structure of consumption, and lists the largest consumers of products based on data from open tender platforms.
The fifth chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian market for carbide cutting tools for the period up to 2030, taking into account the current state and development trends of the main consuming industries.
The appendix provides address and contact information for manufacturers of carbide tools in Russia.
