The report is devoted to analysis of market of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) in Russia and CIS. The Report is composed of 5 Sections, contains 100 Pages, including 17 Figures, 52 Tables and Appendix.
Methodologically the research was implemented by 2 stages: "desk" studies and "field" activity. At the first stage, many information sources were analysed, first of all, data of state bodies – Federal Service of State Statistics of Russia (FSSS), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS of Russia), Russian domestic railage statistics, State Customs Service of Ukraine (SCS of Ukraine) and State Customs Committee of Belarus (SCC of Belarus). Besides, we used data of sectoral and regional print press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites of company-producers.
At the second stage, the summarized and analyzed data were verified and corrected by the way of telephone interviews with specialists of the involved enterprises. For instance, to reveal the greatest Russian consumers of EVA, around 10 telephone interviews were conducted.
The first Section of the report describes process of EVA production and basic suppliers of resources (ethylene and vinyl acetate).
The second Section is devoted to EVA production in Russia; it presents comparative characteristics of quality of the Russian product and import analogues.
The third Section of the report is devoted to analysis of foreign trade operations in EVA. On the background of small volumes of export of the product, in latest years a tendency of marked increasing volumes of EVA imports takes place that is owed by growing demand for EVA at domestic market, as well as the lack of some grades of the product at the domestic market. The Section describes in details main consumers of the imported product in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
The fourth Section presents information on domestic prices on the Russian product, as well as dynamics of export-import prices.
The fifth Section describes consumption of EVA.
The sixth Section presents forecast of development of EVA market in Russia in conditions of the financial-economic crisis.
Appendix presents addresses and contact information on the producer of EVA and main enterprise-consumers of EVA in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
