This report is the ninth edition of the study of the ammonia market in Russia, the EAEU countries and the world.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the ammonia markets of the world, Russia and the EAEU countries.
The object of the study is anhydrous ammonia.
The presented work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international UN databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of Russia (until 2022); the Unified Information System in the Sphere of Procurement; railway transportation statistics; the SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
The chronological scope of the study: 1996-2023; forecast - 2024-2030.
Research geography: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed market analysis; the world and the EAEU countries - general retrospective market analysis.
The report consists of 7 parts, contains 229 pages, including 67 tables, 59 figures and 2 appendices.
The first chapter provides a brief description of the world ammonia market for the period 1995-2023, as well as the prospects for its development.
The second chapter provides information on the ammonia production technology used in the industry, the main type of raw material (natural gas) and the directions of its supplies by the EAEU countries.
The third chapter of this review is devoted to the production of ammonia in the EAEU in 1997-2023. In particular, this chapter provides a description of the current state of the main ammonia producing enterprises in the EAEU countries.
The fourth chapter contains information on export-import operations with ammonia in Russia in 1997-2023.
The fifth chapter contains information on the level of domestic and export-import prices for ammonia in Russia in 1997-2023.
The sixth chapter describes the ammonia consumption market in Russia. It analyzes in detail the structure of chemical consumption, the production-consumption balance. An overview of the main industries consuming ammonia, as well as a description of the largest enterprises consuming this product, is given.
The seventh chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian ammonia market for the period up to 2030.
The appendices provide addresses and contact information of enterprises producing ammonia in Russia and the EAEU countries, as well as the main Russian consumers of the product.
Target audience of the study:
- ammonia market participants - producers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
