This review is the fifteenth edition of a study of the caustic soda market in the Russian Federation.

The market has been monitored since 2000.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian caustic soda market.

The object of research is caustic soda both in solution and in solid form.

The presented work is a desk study. The sources of information were the databases of the CIS Goskomstat, the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (FSGS of the Russian Federation), the official statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation, and the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS of the Russian Federation). The materials of the UN database (UNdata), industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, Internet sites of caustic soda producers and consumers, as well as the InfoMine database were also used.

Chronological scope of the study: 1997-2021; forecast - 2022-2030

Geography of research: Russian Federation - comprehensive detailed analysis of the market.

The review consists of 6 chapters, contains 131 pages, including 53 tables, 33 figures and an appendix.

The first chapter of the review provides information on existing technologies for the production of caustic soda, their features, raw materials required for the production, their quality and supplies to caustic soda producers.

The second chapter of the review is devoted to the analysis of the production of caustic soda in the Russian Federation. This chapter contains the requirements of the existing regulatory and technical documentation for the quality of caustic soda of various brands, statistics of the production of these products in 1997-2021, the regional structure of production is assessed, and the main producers of caustic soda are described.

The third chapter analyzes foreign trade operations with caustic soda in the Russian Federation. The data on the volumes of export and import of the studied products are given, the regional structure of supplies is estimated, data on the volumes of supplies of caustic soda by exporters and importers of these products are given.

The fourth chapter provides information on the level of prices for caustic soda in the domestic Russian market, as well as analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for products.

The fifth chapter of the review gives the balance of production and consumption of caustic soda in Russia, assesses the sectoral structure of consumption of the products under study, describes the main consumers of caustic soda, analyzes the factors that determine the demand for caustic soda in the domestic market.

The sixth chapter of the review is devoted to forecasting the development of production and consumption of caustic soda in Russia for the period up to 2030.

The appendix contains the addresses and contact information of enterprises producing caustic soda in the Russian Federation.

Target audience of the study:

- participants of the caustic soda market - producers, consumers, traders;

- potential investors.

The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing services and professionals working in the caustic soda market.
